Targeted recruiting

What is it?

No matter what type of user testing you want, there's one crucial element you'll always need: Users.

And not just any old users. To find out how to improve your website, and ultimately make more money from it, you need users who represent the people who want to buy your product or service, and will use your website to do it. We call these users your target audience.

How long does it take?

It usually takes 2-3 weeks to work out who your target audience is, select and screen users from your target audience group, invite shortlisted users and create a schedule for testing.

What are the benefits?

Recruiting users who match your target audience ensures that you find the relevant obstacles to a good user experience, and are able to improve your website specifically for the people who are most likely to buy from it.

Testing your website with the wrong user group will be of little value and could even give you results that misguide development.
